Yusuf Durodola est détenteur d'un record du monde Guinness (la plus grande peinture par numéros) réalisé pour l'École de dessin de Lagos, au Nigeria. Il enseigne la peinture au Federal College of Education (Technical) d'Akoka, où il accompagne de jeunes talents.
Fondateur et directeur artistique de la fondation Artegun, une plateforme qui nourrit la créativité des jeunes artistes et propose une autre approche curatoriale de la promotion de l'art. Il travaille avec des matériaux de récupération, peint, réalise des performances, conçoit des expositions et intervient comme directeur créatif — l'un des artistes multimédias les plus marquants de la scène nigériane.
Né en 1979 à Ibadan, dans l'État d'Oyo. Diplômé du Federal College of Education (Technical) d'Akoka en peinture et arts graphiques, il obtient ensuite une licence en arts visuels à l'université de Lagos et un master à l'université Obafemi Awolowo d'Ile-Ife, dans l'État d'Osun. Il prépare actuellement un doctorat à l'université Olabisi Onabanjo, dans l'État d'Ogun.
Ses peintures figurent dans la série Netflix « Blood Sisters » (2022). Ses œuvres sont conservées à la Nike Art Gallery (Lagos, Abuja, Londres), à la Madlozi Art Gallery (Afrique du Sud), à l'Alexis Gallery (Lagos), à la Perseus Gallery (New York), à la Shayee Gallery (New York), à l'Ashanti Gallery (Abuja), à l'Iwalewa Art Gallery (Lagos), ainsi que dans des collections privées du monde entier.

Yusuf Durodola is a Guinness World Record Achiever (Largest Painting by Number) for Ecole de dessin, Lagos, Nigeria. He is currently a painting lecturer at the Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka where he groom the young talents. He is the founder/Artistic Director of Artegun Foundation, a platform vision to nurture the creativity of young artists and offer a difference in curative experience strategically to promote art.
He is a change-provoking recycled artist, deeply thoughtful conversational painter, inspired performance artist, distinguished curator, and impeccable creative director. He is one of the most prominent and influential multimedia visual artists in the Nigerian Art Industry.
He was born in Ibadan, Oyo State in 1979 and attended Federal College of Education (Technical) Akoka where he received a Nigerian Certificate of Education and majored in Painting and Graphics. He proceeded to the University of Lagos where he obtained his degree in Visual Arts and attained his Master's degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. Yusuf is presently a Ph.D research student at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, Nigeria.
His absorbing paintings were included in the 2022 Netflix Limited Series: Blood Sisters. They are also widely collected by the Nike Art Gallery in Lagos, Abuja and London, Madlozi Art Gallery, South Africa, Alexis Gallery, Lagos, Perseus Gallery, New York, Shayee Gallery New York, Ashanti Gallery Abuja, Iwalewa Art Gallery Lagos, and private individual collections around the world. His paintings are everlasting archives dedicated to protecting African traditions and mores; Nigerian heritage and culture with particular emphasis on his indigenous background as a Yoruba offspring.
